baseball jackets and Vera Bradley bags

I have been pretty productive this weekend if I do say so myself! I squeezed in a few things between baseball Friday night, and lunch with my sister on Saturday, church today and playing outside, walking the dog etc.. this afternoon.

So far I have done all of these baseball jackets and a couple of bags. These jackets really didn't take that long to do, but I feel good to see such a big pile of finished items!

My sister gave Annamarye this green Vera Bradley duffle bag for Christmas and I have not gotten around to monogramming it. Actually I had forgotten about it until she used it last weekend. Yesterday my sister gave me this Vera Bradley hipster bag. I can't wait to use it this week on James' field trip!

Table Skirts

Here's a couple of pictures of the table skirts I did for the teachers at school. This is one for James' teacher, Mrs. Price. It isn't completely up around the table, and I need to hem it, but thought I would go ahead and post a picture. There is another one I have done for her class that is finished and up, but I can't find the picture.
This is one I did for the teacher next to James' class. I told James' teacher, her turned out better because I practiced and learned on hers.

Springtime!

I am so ready for Spring and warmer weather!! Last week we were able to get outside some and it was wonderful!
Here's a couple of t-shirts I did for my Mother in law for my nieces. I thought they turned out cute and will go with lots of different things. You can use any fabric and colors.

Here is the girly font with a name. You can pick whatever colors you want.

Here's a tulip embroidery. Again, you can pick whatever colors you want.

Here's another picture of the tulip. I bought the t-shirt and a purple skort from Walmart. Then I added the tulip embroidery and it looked great! I had a cute outfit for not much money, and if she got it dirty it was no big deal.

Crazy Week!

It has been a crazy week here! It snowed last weekend! It was great and the kids had a blast playing in the snow. We had a great Valentine's Day with a dinner at church. Followed by a busy week - school, baseball practices, Ash Wednesday church service, eye doctor, basketball end of season party, baton, going to friends house to spend the night, having a friend over to spend the night, birthday party, time outside, more baseball, church again.... you get the picture.

Anyway, I am still working on table skirts for James' class and now I am working on some for the teacher next to his.

Here are a few things I have managed to squeeze in for me on top of things I have done for others. I was going to get some animal print fabric for our day in Animal Kingdom when we go to Disney. But I found this camo fabric and happen to be on the phone with my husband, Johnny and he said get the camo. So that it what I got. I think they turned out cute!

James loves camo and would/will the shorts. He probably won't wear the shirt anywhere except at Disney, but that is fine.

Last weekend I looked at Walmart and Target to see if they had any sweatshirts left but couldn't find any. I didn't think about it until last weekend to put the Disney Swirl embroidery on one for at night or early morning while it is cool. I found these Monday at Academy and was thrilled. The kids' youth sizes were only $2.88!! I bought several and will save some for next year. The blue one is for James and the red ones are for Annamarye and me. They both loved theirs and wore them to church Wednesday night. Johnny said he would get him a white sweatshirt and I could put one all in black on his. I know he won't wear his except at Disney when everyone is dressed Mickey, but that is fine with me.

After snow last weekend, it is beautiful outside this weekend! I am so ready for spring! I have been looking through my spring and summer stuff. I love this embroidery design. You can have lots of colors so it will go with many things!

While at Acedemy, I found this red zip up sweatshirt for $7.99 so I went ahead and got it for me. I added the "t". It will be handy to have just to grab on cool mornings and not have to pull it over my head.

It Never Fails!

It never fails! I tried and tried to get these pictures loaded and finally gave up and wrote something. Afterwards, I thought I'll try one more time. Of course it worked perfectly!

Anyway, here's two of my new Disney designs. This one is a Mickey/Minnie Mouse head lollipop design. It could be Mickey or Minnie depending on the colors used. I used girl colors on this one and would probably add a bow to it. I stitched this out on a white background with no fabric underneath. But it is an applique so you could have fabric. Also, this is the small size. It comes larger.

This is my new favorite design!! I absolutely love this and it is so simple!! You can use any color combination. JoAnn Fabrics has that stitched plaid fabric (like Kelly's Kids and I'm sure others have) in some springish colors. I think I am going to make some Capri pants for Annamarye and some shorts for James and do this on a shirt for our next Disney trip! I have other sizes for this one too.

New Designs Coming!

Sorry I have not posted anything in a while. I have been working on a couple of table skirts for James' teacher at school. I will take a picture of them tomorrow when I am at the school for the Valentine's Day Party. Unless there is a snow day!!

I have some great new Disney designs! I am really excited about them - they are super cute! I have stitched out a couple of them. I am still working out fabric and thread combinations. I tried to post a couple tonight, but for some reason it won't let me. Hopefully I will get them up later tonight or tomorrow!
