Peace Valentine Heart

Here's a dress I did for Annamarye today for Valentine's Day. The dress is from Monag and I bought the pink leggings (they are light pink, kind of hard to see) at Target.

Disney Applique

Disney Appliques: I did these for my two kids last year before our trip to Disney. I made my son a pair of shorts out of the black and white gingham, and my daughter a skirt. They loved them! I even made me a shirt! We had so many compliments on them and even had several people ask to take our picture!
I did one for another customer and added the child's name in the center. It would also look great with an initial.
For our upcoming trip, I am going to make some using "animal" print fabric for the day we go to Animal Kingdom.

Snowman

I have a snowman applique I used for sweatshirts last year for the kids. There is a picture on the right of one I did for a friend of mine. It is really cute. There is a boy one that matches.

I came across this one a while back and loved it! I think it is just as cute and it is much easier. You can easily use this snowman for a boy too - just change up the fabric. I used white flannel for the body of the snowman. I have used felt before and it works OK. I think the flannel holds up better. I bought the fabric at The Smocking Bird and the pink t-shirt is a Monag shirt.

Dot Font

I found these cute leggings at Old Navy for only a few dollars. The swing top is by Ishtex. It looks really cute on Annamarye! The font is Kim Single by Monogram Wizard Plus.

Purse Applique

I did this purse applique for this company last fall. I probably did 25 of them. I just had to do one for my daughter though! I made the pants out of some corduroy fabric I bought at The Smocking Bird. I made the ruffle a little wider than I usually do, but she loved it! I added her initial, but you could leave it off.

Cross Applique

This is a Monag t-shirt and pants. This cross applique is done with a zig zag stitch. It can also be done with a vintage stitch or satin stitch.

Applique Mongram

Here's a monogram with the middle initial an applique.
